The light dome from downtown Bar Harbor dominates the sky just south of the main entrance to the park. This site was selected to monitor the downtown Bar Harbor light dome and its clear view of the separate light dome from the Jackson Laboratory directly south of Bar Harbor. From the Egg Rock measurement site just south of Jackson Lab, these two light domes are in line with each other. | ||
